Agreement
By creating an account or using Vela you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
Vela helps you run focus sessions and block distractions across your devices. Available features depend on your plan and may change as we improve the product.
Your account
You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Accounts are for a single person and may not be shared.
Plans and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods unless the law requires it.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt to reverse engineer it, disrupt other users, or resell access without our written permission.
Your content
You own your data. You grant Vela the limited rights needed to store, sync, and display it so we can provide the service to you.
Availability
Vela is provided on an as-is basis. We work hard to keep it reliable but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Vela after an update means you accept the revised terms.
